The Requirement
Dave Ong, company owner at Panache Audio Systems, originally turned to Adlib in April 2018 when he was looking to purchase an S31 console system, the first addition of DiGiCo to their hire stock, something he’d considered for some time.
Following a visit to DiGiCo’s Chessington headquarters, Dave contacted us to discuss and advise on the format for the console package, Adlib being a close DiGiCo partner in the UK, on both hire and sales fronts.
The Solution
Harry in Adlib’s Sales team quickly established the client’s needs from the system, and delivered valuable advice on the choice of stagebox, suggesting a D2-Rack to facilitate power redundancy and increased/expandable I/O.
Adlib were able to advise right down to the fine details, including suggesting and supplying tactical-grade data cabling, as used by Adlib’s hire department, for use in the field. Plus as a close rental partner with DiGiCo, Dave knew he could count on the backup and support of our own hire department and inventory.
The need for a second console system a short time later, coupled with the level of support and advice offered by Adlib on the first purchase, lead Dave to come to us for an S21 console package with D-Rack, for smaller events.
