The Requirement
Rob Simpson, Managing Director at Nub Sound, a hire and production company located in Plymouth, was looking to invest in an SD12 console with SD-Rack to add to company’s audio inventory.
Having researched DiGiCo’s primary partners, Rob chose to contact Adlib as one of the leading digital mixing console suppliers in the UK.
The Solution
Harry, as one of Adlib’s Sales team, liaised closely with Rob at Nub Sound as well as DiGiCo technical support to ensure they received a system that operated and connected together as required. This also involved Adlib designing and manufacturing a flight case based on that used by our own hire department, but with custom amendments to suit Nub Sound’s specific needs.
Rob and Adrian from Nub Sound arranged to collect the console system from Adlib, where we were able to present and demonstrate the fully-packaged, working system and conduct a basic introduction to the console platform, to give them a head start on using the system in the field.
Adlib not only provided competitive value for money, but also unparalleled support, as we currently hold seven SD12s rental stock and continue to work closely with DiGiCo on supporting and improving their product platform for the end user.
