Is a DiGiCo S21 the best choice for me?DiGiCo mixing consoles have long been a popular choice with front-of-house and monitor engineers but have often been out of reach of those on a tighter budget.
With the S21, DiGiCo has introduced a mixing desk with features that make it sounds and feel like the higher end DiGiCo consoles.
Many S-series features have come directly from more expensive console series including the popular SD series. For example, the S21 faders are also used on the DiGiCo SD10
An S21 may be a particularly good choice if you are looking for a compact and lightweight solution without compromising on quality.
That said, if you are looking for a little more control from your mixing surface, the DiGiCo S31 mixing console might be worth considering as it provides an additional 10 faders along with a third screen.
Once you invest in the X-S21 surface, you can add a range of optional input and output cards and stage boxes to meet your specific needs.
