Senior Video Technician

Job description:

Adlib are seeking a Senior Video Technician to join us in our Liverpool HQ. The ideal candidate will come from a live events / AV Company background where they will be familiar with all aspects of the technical delivery of video systems for corporate, live music and comedy shows. The candidate will be comfortable running teams and have experience specifying systems to meet client requirements.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Video Team managements on site
  • Advising on the best technical solution
  • Technical specification
  • Attend site visits if required
  • Developing equipment specification and packaging for the department
  • Installation, de-installation and operation of equipment for events
  • Management of in house portfolio of equipmenti
  • Attend venue meetings
  • Coordinate technical resource for projects
  • Manage rigs and rehearsals on site and attending to all client requirements

Successful applicant will display:

  • Strong AV background
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong communication and management skills
  • A proven history delivering video equipment to a wide range of live events
  • Both the technical Audio Visual background and creative skills to plan, prepare and execute top quality and successful corporate and live events.
  • Strong logical thinking

Desirable skills and qualifications:

  • Microsoft Office including, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience working with professional audio and lighting
  • Experience in Customer Service
  • Experience with quotes, invoices and related paperwork
  • Experience of electronic repair and troubleshooting

Video Technician

Job description:

Adlib are seeking a Video Technician to join us in our Liverpool HQ. The ideal candidate will come an interest in live events and be looking to develop and existing knowledge base of video delivery across many areas of event production. The candidate will be comfortable working in teams and have an existing understanding of live video systems.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Prep equipment to a high standard prior to event.
  • Rig equipment on site in accordance with company SSW.
  • Operate equipment for duration of event.
  • Liaise with clients / venues on site, to ensure event schedule are met.
  • Work in conjunction with other suppliers and departments.
  • Responsible for directing local crew.
  • Complete dispatch notes to ensure all the equipment is on the truck prior to leaving the warehouse.
  • Complete and return POWRA forms.
  • Complete and return Accident and Fault Report if applicable
