We are now seeking an organised and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our vibrant and passionate team to assist with maintaining and evolving Adlib’s vision.
What’s the role?
We’re looking for someone with a high level of accuracy, thoroughness and problem-solving skills to coordinate logistical delivery of our live music, comedy, theatre and corporate events. You will:
- Work alongside our Client Account and Assets Management teams to plan trucking and logistical movements, balancing effectiveness, budgets, swift communication, and accuracy.
- Use TeamTrack, our cloud-based management system, to schedule timings, staffing requirements, vehicle allocation, accommodation and other logistical changes.
- Manage the schedules of our vehicle fleet and drivers, ensuring legal compliance and all plans/changes are communicated effectively and correctly.
- Allocate and manage trucking from external providers, building relationships and negotiating pricing.
- Book couriers (same-day and overnight), as well as hotels, trains, flights and ferries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with all teams across the business to ensure a clear flow of information.
- Conduct administrative duties as needed, e.g. raising purchase orders, reconciling expenses, etc.
Where’s the role?
You’ll be based in our HQ in Knowsley, near Liverpool.
What we're looking for in a candidate?
Essential:
- A hands-on approach to problem solving and communication, with advanced levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience of transport planning and understanding of UK road haulage legislation
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to respond positively and quickly to changes of plan
- Must be comfortable working in a busy, open-plan office environment
Desirable:
- Experience of arranging travel in a business capacity (accomodation, trains, flights, car hire etc.)
- Previous experience in the Events Industry
What else do I need to know?
Reports to: Head of Logistics
Standard working pattern: Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 17:30
Holiday: 25 days per year plus bank holidays, with up to 5 additional days available for long service after 5 years’ employment.
