This busy receptionist role is a permanent, full-time opportunity based at our busy head office in Knowsley. This role will include other administrative and secretarial duties as required.
What's the role?
Some of your key responsbilities will include:
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (sign-in and sign-out book, issue visitor passes).
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls to the relevant departments/staff members. Take and relay telephone messages when necessary.
- Provide information in person and via phone and email to staff and customers.
- Manage meeting room/training room diaries, including setting up rooms and ordering catering/supplies for events.
- Assist with management of contractors, ensuring on-site inductions are completed and collating relevant documentation.
- Assist with facilities management, including scheduling routine maintenance.
- Order front office supplies and maintain inventory of stock (e.g., stationery, cleaning goods, tea and coffee, etc.).
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail and deliveries.
- Handle printing and photocopying tasks.
- Complete ad hoc administrative duties as required.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Complete end-of-day closedown procedures.
