Primary Role

As part of your role, you will provide vital support to the Sales team. This will involve managing the Stock Management system, ensuring product records are up-to-date with price changes, and overseeing a database of supplier price lists and discount structures.

Additionally, you will play a key role in updating the product catalogue on the website and promptly responding to customer enquiries. Collaboration with the Sales & Estimating Team will also be essential, as you assist with enquiries, prepare quotes, and help maintain communication with clients. While your primary location will be at the main site in Knowsley, you will also be expected to support team members at our Glasgow and London sites.

Main Responsibilities

  • Liaising with suppliers
  • Maintaining Supplier Price Lists
  • Updating Stock Pricing Records
  • Managing the website Product Catalogue
  • Coordinating with the Stores Team for stock management
  • Supporting the Purchasing Team
  • Managing the Customer database through our CRM system
  • Assisting in managing the enquiry pipeline
  • Generating reports on pending quotes and maintaining customer contact
  • Providing aftercare support

Skills & Qualifications

  • Competent IT Skills*
  • Proficient in manipulating and formatting data in Excel, with experience in VLOOKUPS*
  • Image manipulation skills using Adobe Creative Cloud or similar software
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities*
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS

Experience

  • Knowledge of professional AV and lighting equipment components
  • Previous experience in a related sales role
  • Proficiency in IT systems such as Office/Outlook/365/Excel
  • Familiarity with website Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, or similar platforms
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
