Darius Rucker’s 2025 UK tour followed a successful US run, bringing his high-production show to arena venues across the country. The production required a consistent and scalable technical solution that would support a full live band setup, immersive lighting design, and a large-format video backdrop. With tight scheduling and venue variations from city to city, the system needed to be highly efficient to deploy, while delivering reliable, arena-scale performance at every stop.
Adlib provided a fully integrated production package for the UK leg, including video, lighting, audio, power, and control systems designed for repeatable, high-impact delivery.
The visual centrepiece of the show was a large 12-metre by 7-metre LED wall made up of ROE Black Quartz 4.6mm panels. This upstage display delivered clear, high-resolution content across the full width of the performance area. Complementing this was a low-profile LED floor strip that ran 12.5 metres across the stage with 2.5-metre returns at either end, allowing content to extend from the screen onto the stage floor.
The entire system was powered by a Megapixel VR Helios processing package, providing precise control over playback and signal routing. Power distribution for the video system was handled by a Stagesmarts C72tv distro, ensuring clean and reliable delivery throughout.
The flown lighting rig was built to create a mix of punch, wash, and dynamic movement across the set. It featured 24 GLP JDC-1 hybrid strobes, paired with 24 ROXX Cluster B4W fixtures for high-output white light and 34 Martin MAC Ultra Performance moving heads, which delivered precise keylight and beam effects. Additional colour and wash coverage was provided by 34 Martin MAC Aura PXL fixtures. For beam work and aerial effects, 12 Robe MegaPointes were included in the flown package.
The floor package extended the rig with an additional nine GLP JDC-1s, eight ROXX Cluster B2FC fixtures, and eight Martin MAC Ultra Performance heads, all contributing to the layered visual design from stage level.
Four Robert Juliat Merlin followspots were used for front tracking and key artist highlighting. Atmosphere was created using four MDG theONE haze machines to ensure consistent beam definition throughout the venue.
Lighting control was managed using a grandMA3 full-size console at front of house, with a grandMA3 light console provided as backup. Signal distribution and infrastructure were supported by twin INDU 72-way distros and a fibre-based control system, linking FOH and stage efficiently.

For audio, a full L-Acoustics K Series system was specified. Each side of the main PA consisted of 14 K1 loudspeakers over four K2 downs, with 16 additional K2 elements per side used for side hangs. Outfill coverage was handled by three A15s per side, and six A10s were positioned across the front of the stage for front fill. Eighteen KS28 subwoofers were deployed across the front in a cardioid configuration, delivering clean, punchy low end to every part of the room.
The system was powered by a total of 46 LA12X amplifiers and managed via a Newton control platform, offering fine-grain control and DSP processing across the entire deployment.
Audio control at FOH and monitors was provided by two Yamaha PM7 Rivage packages, each supported by a full Rio rack system to deliver reliable, high-capacity I/O with redundancy where needed.
Wireless systems for both vocals and in-ear monitoring were provided using Shure Axient Digital, delivering clean RF coverage and consistent monitoring on stage. A full mic and stand package was also included, tailored to the needs of the touring band and production crew.
Darius Rucker’s 2025 UK tour was delivered with a robust, rider-compliant production package that maintained high-quality delivery across a demanding schedule of arena shows. The integration of a large-format LED wall, high-spec lighting rig, and scalable audio system ensured the production delivered the same experience night after night regardless of venue shape or size.
With efficient infrastructure and reliable systems throughout, the touring team was able to focus on performance, while Adlib’s delivery ensured speed, consistency, and clarity both on and off stage. The end result was a technically smooth and visually compelling tour that supported every creative element of the show.
