Arena-scale comedy tours require exceptional audio clarity to ensure vocal intelligibility throughout the venue. The production team needed a flexible system capable of adapting to various room dimensions, specifically accommodating both long and short room configurations.
Visually, the tour required high-definition IMAG (Image Magnification) relay to ensure the performer’s expressions were visible to all audience members. The lighting design needed to provide a clean theatrical focus on stage while delivering high-impact effects for audience engagement and walk-in sequences. The technical infrastructure had to be robust enough for rapid deployment across a demanding tour schedule.
The audio solution was built around a high-output CODA Audio PA system, specifically chosen for its phase linearity and vocal clarity.
The system was tailored to the specific dimensions of each venue:
To ensure consistent coverage, all CiRAY cabinets utilized a 120-degree dispersion pattern. The bottom two cabinets of the AiRAY hangs were also configured for 120-degree dispersion, while the remainder of the arrays utilized a 90-degree pattern.
Front of House (FOH) was managed via a DiGiCo Quantum 225 mixing console paired with an SD-Rack. The wireless infrastructure utilised a Shure Axient Digital RF system to ensure reliable signal stability for the performer. On-stage monitoring was provided by L-Acoustics X12 cabinets.

The lighting rig was designed to provide a layered visual environment, separated into dedicated truss systems for stage and audience illumination.
Stage lighting (Inner Truss) featured 16 x Martin MAC Ultra Performance and 16 x Martin MAC Aura XIP fixtures, providing precise theatrical focus and colour wash.
Audience and effects lighting (Outer Truss) utilised 16 x Martin MAC Ultra Wash and 16 x Robe MegaPointe fixtures. High-impact audience lighting was reinforced by 40 x Chauvet Strike Array 2 blinders.
Floor-mounted lighting included 19 x Astera AX2 1m pixel bars. Atmospheric effects were provided by two Cirro MK3 hazers with TMB ProFans, while four Chauvet Vesuvio II upright foggers provided vertical plume effects.
The system was operated via a grandMA3 light as the primary console, with a grandMA3 compact serving as backup. Power distribution was managed by a StageSmarts C72 72-way distro housed in Adlib control racks.

The visual package centred on a high-resolution LED relay and a multi-camera 4K workflow.
Adlib supplied four ROE Black Quartz 4.6mm LED screens, each measuring 6m x 4m. These provided clean, high-brightness IMAG feeds to the arena audience.
The camera package featured four Panasonic UC4000 4K broadcast channels equipped with Canon UJ90 field lenses. A specialised RF camera setup utilised a Sony FX6 mounted on a DJI Ronin RS3 Pro gimbal with an advanced ring and DJI Combo Transmission.
Vision mixing was handled by an Adlib 4K PPU system featuring a Ross Carbonite Touchdrive TD2S panel and a Ross Ultrix router.
The rigging infrastructure was designed for speed and safety. The tour utilised Tyler GT+ PreRig Truss and Total Fabs OV40 trussing. The flown systems were suspended using a combination of 1T and 2T EXE Rise D8+ hoists.
The technical integration for the "Full Fat Legend" tour delivered a scalable and technically resilient platform. By coordinating audio, lighting, video, and rigging under a single provider, Adlib ensured that the high standards required for arena-level comedy were met consistently. The focus on audio intelligibility and high-resolution video relay successfully supported the performance across all venue configurations.
