Last week, Adlib exhibited at the Production Futures ON TOUR event at Production Park in West Yorkshire, where Lisa, Joe, and Tom connected with aspiring industry professionals, to discuss Live Events careers, and showcased what we’re all about. The event also hosted the Breakthrough Talent Awards 2025, which made it an even more special day for the team.

We're thrilled to share that Amy Laurence was recognised as Film Production Newcomer of the Year at the awards ceremony. Amy has shown incredible dedication across the numerous projects, films, events, and initiatives she's been part of.

Amy, a First Assistant Director and Editor who joined Adlib as a Junior Video Editor in July 2022, has swiftly integrated herself into our Content Department and KINØ teams. Some notable projects include working as a Camera Operator and Editor on our The Making of Live Events film, and serving as Director, Producer, Editor, and Camera Operator on multiple International Women's Day features, including ‘For You’ and ‘What It Means’. She also edited and operated a camera for Jason Derulo's concert film in Vienna, worked as a Camera Operator on James Arthur's stadium concert shoot, and produced, shot, and edited countless highlight reels and case studies covering Adlib’s Rental and Sales & Integration projects.

Despite only being in the industry for just over three years, Amy has made it her own and continues to push the boundaries of her role while advocating for more inclusivity within the industry.

Tom Edwards, Director at Adlib, commented: "We’re really proud that the industry has recognised Amy for her hard work. Since joining us, she has quickly become an integral part of our Content Department and KINØ brand. Even when thrown at the deep end, she continued to deliver high-quality work with determination and enthusiasm, whilst also finding the time to use her talents to promote greater inclusivity and make the industry more accessible to young people. At Adlib, we always encourage young professionals to choose and forge their own path, and it’s fantastic to see that Amy has taken this opportunity so well and continues to drive forward, honing her craft in our industry”.
