Ultra-compact immersive IEM mixing – available Q3 2026

KLANG:technologies has introduced the KLANG:1pro, an ultra-compact immersive in-ear monitor processor designed to deliver professional binaural mixing in a highly portable format. The unit will be available from Adlib in Q3 2026.

Immersive mixing, scaled down

Pocket-sized and weighing just 0.35 kg, KLANG:1pro is the smallest processor in the KLANG range to date. Despite its size, it provides a single immersive mix sourced from up to 64 input channels, making it a practical solution for touring productions, theatres, venues and broadcast environments looking to integrate immersive monitoring without adding significant rack space.

Powered by the same FPGA family used in KLANG’s flagship systems, KLANG:1pro delivers ultra-low latency performance of just 0.25 ms. This ensures a natural and transparent monitoring experience, maintaining phase coherence and spatial clarity without perceptible delay for performers.

Measuring only 30 × 108 × 123 mm, the unit is designed to fit easily into flypacks and compact rack systems. It is powered and configured via USB-C, removing the need for an external power supply and simplifying deployment in fast-paced production environments.

Designed for modern workflows

Control and monitoring can be managed via phone, tablet or PC, offering flexibility across rehearsal and show workflows. Native worksurface integration with DiGiCo Quantum and SD-Range consoles enables immersive control directly from the console surface, maintaining a familiar workflow for engineers.

KLANG:1pro is designed to scale organically within a production. Engineers can deploy immersive monitoring for individual musicians and expand across additional performers as required, without changing tools or workflows. This makes it suitable for both compact touring setups and larger, more complex systems.

Connectivity and integration

KLANG:1pro features expanded MADI capability, including a second MADI input to enable full 64-channel MADI I/O at 96 kHz. It also includes redundant 64×64 Dante with single-channel routing, providing robust networking options for modern digital audio systems.

This combination offers flexibility for productions requiring redundancy, higher channel-count routing and seamless integration into existing digital infrastructures.
