Adlib’s lighting rental department has taken delivery of 60 new IP-rated Chauvet Professional COLORdash PAR H12IP and they have already been out on jobs including Sports Relief for the BBC.
With lighting rental projects becoming increasingly diverse with festivals, concerts, touring, and corporate event production each requiring a different approach, head of lighting Dave Platt is prioritising flexibility in the company’s hire stock.
We are constantly on the lookout for products that can be used in a wide range of applications. With a busy year ahead, we had requirements for LED wash lights for stage lighting, as well as indoor and outdoor architectural projects. The challenge was to find a product that would be suitable for both of these applications without any compromise on quality.
After evaluating a number of options, Dave settled on the COLORdash PAR H12IP from Chauvet’s professional range.
The COLORdash PAR is a versatile unit – it’s RGBWAUV, IP rated, and compact. It gives a great even output, we can use them outdoors, and we’ve been able to case them in kits of 6 which is great from a transport perspective. We were confident in our decision to go with the Chauvet Professional range as we have had a great experience using products including Strike 4 LED blinders, Slim PARs, and COLORado battens in our hire stock.
Chauvet Professional lighting fixtures have become increasingly popular with Adlib’s lighting rental and installation clients in recent years with notable projects including Russel Howard’s arena tour, and Creamfields Festival.
